*Updated Totals:  Late posted closings have increased the transaction totals
(Properties were listed and sold by various MLS participants and all data was derived from the Mid Florida Regional MLS)

November brought an increase in interest rates to almost 7%, which could have had a direct negative affect on the number of home sales in Seminole County, as I write this post… Interest rates have improved to 5.5% and there is talk of the Government stepping in to help lower rates to 4.5%.  Already at historic lows, a further decrease in mortgage interest rates would be an unprecedented effort by the U.S. Government to stimulate the economy by jump starting the sagging housing market.  Please contact me for all of your questions about buying a home in Seminole County or to talk about obtaining a mortgage with great rates.
